2023 Fun Run Fundraiser

We are seeking sponsors for our Fun Run! If you are interested in being a sponsor or making a donation, please read our blog post for more details.

Parents, friends, and businesses can donate directly on our event page plus businesses can be featured on the page as a sponsor! Our Fun Run event page is https://myapexevent.com/willow-woods-elementary-fun-run

The Student Pep Rally will be held on Tuesday, September 19 and the Fun Run will be held on Friday, September 29. We will need approximately 5 volunteers to assist at the water tables for each group of students on September 29. If you would like to volunteer, please sign up here. The schedule for the Fun Run is as follows:

9am - 10am:

• Kindergarten - Jenkins, Jurmo, Chapman, Hannick
• 1st grade - Cesar, Kochanski, Chapman, Hannick
• 1st/2nd grade split - Hartman

10am-11am:

• 2nd grade - Magro, Ross, Warner
• 5th grade - Beels, Schilkey 

11am-12pm:

• 3rd grade - Goy, Shaw, Warner
• 4th grade - Simpson, Williams
• Special Ed - May

*Volunteers must complete and pass a background check through the school per district policy. Please confirm that you have been approved to volunteer with the school office. If you are interested in attending the event, regardless if you choose to volunteer, you will still need a background check.

PRIZES:

• Every student that receives at least 1 donation of any amount will be entered to win a prize pack from Troy Gym. The prize pack includes 2 free indoor ropes course climbs and a $50 open gym punch card.
• The student that raises the most in donations will receive a small weekday party package ($195 value) from Bounce House in Sterling Heights.
• All students (and staff!) will get to enjoy a school-wide pajama day if we reach our school goal of $15,000!

Note: Students will also receive the prizes earned which can be found on their student webpage.
